The Catholic Community Foundation

The Catholic Community Foundation, established in 1999 by the Diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph (MO), allows donors to express their charitable intentions while also supporting the spiritual, educational and social needs both of the Catholic community and the broader community.

As a public charity separate from the Diocese and with its own board of directors, the Foundation ensures that donated funds will be secure and used only for their intended purposes. These purposes respect the wishes of the donor and may include the Diocese itself, the parishes, schools and other ministries of the Diocese, and other organizations (whether or not related to the Diocese) which share the mission of the Catholic community.

Through its affiliation with the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, the Catholic Community Foundation offers donors the simplicity and advantages of a public charity, combined with the personal recognition, involvement and flexibility of a private or family foundation.
