 An average 97 percent of our annual grants are driven by individuals, families, organizations and corporations that have funds with us. These are our donors who suggest grants to organizations and causes that are important to them.
We have learned that one of the best things the Foundation can do is to help a donor deepen his or her passion. The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation adds value to a donor’s giving experience, always preserving our commitment to the causes that are important to the donor.
The Community Foundation specializes in helping donors develop customized philanthropic plans based on a broad range of assets, from cash to real estate to art, and even sports teams and stock in closely-held companies. We also assist donors in documenting their charitable intent, which is a core principle in our work. Your priority is our priority. Our job is to follow your wishes.
