Chanda Rubin "Champion" Charitable Fund
Description
The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide scholarships to graduating female seniors in the 5 county greater Kansas City areas (Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties in Missouri and Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas) who have played tennis in high school.
Eligibility
The female student eligible for assistance must have:
Attended high school in Jackson, Clay or Platte Counties in Missouri or Wyandotte or Johnson County in Kansas.
Played tennis during high school.
Must be attending a college or university as a full time student (Fall of 2010)
Must have demonstrated financial need.
Applicant must have two letters of reference
Essay must outline how the student has overcome obstacles during her lifetime
Amount
Up to $3,000.00 for one year, non renewable.
