Betty Charlton Scholarship Fund
Description
This fund was established in memory of Betty Charlton by the Shawnee Area Chamber of Commerce to provide scholarships for education to area students who have demonstrated involvement in community leadership and who have received special honors.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet the following: · The eligible students for assistance shall be graduating seniors intending to continue their education through a two or four year college and/or technical school. Consideration will be given to the student's work, school activity and community service records. · Student must continue to attend classes and keep a 3.0 grade point average (or equivalent). · Submit a scholarship application on a form provided by the Foundation.
Amount
$1,500 total, to be paid in one payment prior to the fall semester.
Deadline
Application must be turned in before 5:00 pm, Wednesday, March 31, 2010
