Elizabeth Miller Watkins Memorial Scholarship Fund
Description
To assist women students of outstanding scholastic achievement and demonstrated financial need in completing their college education at the University of Kansas.
Eligibility
All women enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at the University of Kansas.
-Current residents of Watkins and Miller scholarship halls are encouraged to apply.
-3.0 GPA or higher on 4.0 scale
-Demonstrated financial need;
-Special consideration given to first time college women in family;
-Recipients may reapply annually to receive the scholarship for a total of 8 undergraduate semesters;
-Serve one year on the EMWMS Advisory Committee after graduation.
Amount
$1,000 or more per academic year (dispersed ½ each semester).
Deadline
Application must be received by the Community Foundation by February 20, 2010
