Trent Green Scholarship Fund
Description
The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide scholarships to allow students graduating from high school in Kansas City, Kansas who are looking for an in-state college or university to pursue a career as a teacher.
Eligibility
The students eligible for assistance must meet the following criteria: Be a Kansas City, Kansas School District student. Maintain at least a 2.75 G.P.A. Must provide reason if more than 10 days absent. Financial need must be demonstrated. Must be a full time student in order to maintain scholarship. Have no prior arrests or convictions. Scholarship is renewable. However, a yearly review of all recipient and their progress is required for renewal to occur.
Amount
Minimum of $1,000.00 per year, renewable for up to four years.
