Robert A. Long Scholarship Fund
This fund was established in memory of Robert A. Long by his family to provide educational scholarships to graduating seniors from Southeast High School, Cherokee, Kansas (or its successor), who are either from McCune, Kansas or who attended the McCune Attendance Center (or its successor high school serving the same region) and who plan to further their education at a two or four year college or university, or an accredited technical school.
Eligibility:
- Graduating seniors from Southeast High School Cherokee, Kansas with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4 point scale or its equivalent.
- From either McCune, Kansas or attended the McCune Attendance Center (or its successor high school serving the same region).
- Enrolling at a two or four year college or university or, an accredited technical school upon graduation from Southeast High School.

Applications are accepted year-round however formal announcements will be made in May of each year
