Virginia Whitsitt Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Virginia Whitsitt Memorial Scholarship Fund program provides annual scholarships to graduating seniors in honor of Helen Virginia Whitsitt. The scholarships are focused on students interested in pursuing a career in teaching and demonstrating financial need. While preference may be given to those seeking teaching careers at the elementary level, all applications will be considered. If qualified applicants are not available, the scholarship may be awarded to teachers who have returned to school for their master’s degree in education.
